A 21 year old senior at Hood College (a liberal arts school located in Frederick Maryland) has been honored with the title of homecoming king; not really
headline news in and of it self. What makes this particular story news worthy, is that the student name is Jennifer Jones and she is not a he but in fact a
lesbian women. Jennifer Jones, in an interview with The Frederick News-Post says of her election as king, “It is cool that Hood allows people to be
themselves. If people didn’t want me to be king, they wouldn’t have nominated me and voted for me.”
This has nothing to do with Jennifer being allowed to be herself. This is a gender issue! This is another example of the world further blurring the lines between
the sexes to promote its own decadent agenda. “She is not a man,” said Singleton Newman, a 33 year old senior who was nominated for queen. “It is a
gender issue, and she is a woman.” A reality which Miss Jones chooses to ignore.
And as for people! People need leadership and direction something that is obviously lacking at Hood College. Don Miller is the Director of student activities
at Hood College and his response to Jennifer being crowned king, “students are appreciative of diversity.” Mr. Miller adding homosexuality to your college
campus does not enhance it’s diversity but rather it enhances your college campus perversity.
According to Dr. Elizabeth Moberly, Cambridge University: 85-90% of all lesbians have been victims of sexual abuse. People are not born homosexual.
(U.S. Center for Disease Control study. Atlanta, 1982). Current research shows no physiological or genetic difference between homosexuals and
heterosexuals. There are only genetic theories and speculations.
Homosexuality is not a race. One is born African or Chinese, but one is not born homosexual. Homosexuality is a choice a very bad choice with
tremendous consequences. One may choose to change ones citizenship but that never changes what one was born into.
So what does the Bible say about Homosexuality?
In Romans 1:25-27, God calls homosexuality unnatural:
“Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this cause
God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:” (KJV)
In 1Corinthians 6:9-10, God calls homosexuality unrighteous along with other sins. He also points out that homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom
of God: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor
effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom
of God.” (KJV)
In Leviticus 18:22, God calls the act of homosexuality an abomination:
“Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” (KJV)
No where does the Bible call homosexuality a diverse alternative lifestyle, a race of people, or a distinct ethnic group. But it does call it sin. And that
really is the good news. God treats homosexuality as sin. Like any other sin. Let us continue reading verse 11 of I Corinthians chapter 6. “And such
were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”
These are those that have changed citizenship!
“Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the
flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise,
having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.”
Ephesians 2:11-13 (KJV)
It is the Lord Jesus Christ’s desire that all should come to repentance (II Peter 3:9). All should repent; the adulterer, the drunk, the crooked politician,
and yes the church member playing both sides of the fence. ALL!
Romans 6:23 states that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (KJV)
In the last chapter of the Gospel according to Saint Luke we find Jesus leaving his Apostles with clear instructions; “And said unto them, Thus it is written,
and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that REPENTANCE and REMISSION OF SINS should be preached IN
HIS NAME among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I SEND THE PROMISE of my Father upon you:
but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:46-49 (KJV)
The Apostles obeyed Jesus’ Word at the Day (Feast) of Pentecost which is recorded in the Book of ACTS. Acts chapter 2 and verse 37 records the
people listening to Peter’s preaching as saying “Men and brethren what shall do?” Peter’s response fulfilled Jesus’ command to preach 1) repentance,
2) remission of sins, 3) and the receiving of the Holy Ghost (Spirit).
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of
the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Act 2:38-39 (KJV)
Jesus is calling out today for all to become part of the “and such were some of you” bunch. Become a member of the most diverse group in the earth today!
The Kingdom of God!
But you are a special people, a holy nation, priests and kings, a people given up completely to God, so that you may make clear the virtues of him who took
you out of the dark into the light of heaven. 1 Peter 2:9 (BBE)

GOD CHANGED SAUL OF
TARSUS'S NAME! REALLY?
Nowhere in the Bible does it tell us how
or when Saul's name was changed to
Paul. In the book of Acts we do find
Saul identified as the one who is also
called Paul.
WHY IS ALL THIS IMPORTANT?
Well, just a little bit off course
without course correction can lead
to another destination
